A funny, punny, action-packed bug story. Your little music-lovers will learn about dreaming big, perseverance, determination, friendship, and teamwork…and the power of music!

Rocket Red is a little guitar-playing, singing ant who dreams of becoming a big rock star. His mom, the queen ant, disapproves! She believes his job is to work and feed the ant colony. The only one who seems to believe in him is his pal, Beebop Bea.

One day, delayed by practicing with his Lucky Bug Band, Red finds himself all alone and in a dreadful jam. Can his music somehow save him?

. . . . . . . . . .

This book is adorable! I love books about music, and this little children’s book combines both music and a positive message about love and kindness. It is a perfect bedtime read for kids looking for a theme of friendship.

In addition, there are red ants for kids to count throughout the book and Beebop Bea to search for in the pages. There are lots of fun puns for adults too. Very clever! It is a sweet and fun book for kids and music-loving adults alike.
