2019 Blogging From A-Z Challenge: Z is for ZZ Ward

Welcome to Day 26 and the last day of the Blogging from A-Z Challenge. Just a quick introduction: my name is Elissa Kane, and I am an indie author working on my first mystery novel, A Deadly Melody, which is book 1 of the Fallen Rockstar series.

If you want to find out why I chose this theme, please check out my Blogging from A-Z Challenge theme reveal post.

Now, onto the letter Z. . .

ZZ Ward

Zsuzsanna Eva “ZZ” Ward (how awesome of a name is that?) is an American musician, singer and songwriter.

ZZ released her debut album, Til the Casket Drops, in 2012. “Put The Gun Down”, her first single, broke into the top 40 on the Billboard Alternative chart. Her second studio album, The Storm, was released in 2017, peaking at number 1 on the Billboard Blues Albums Chart in July 2017.

Equally as impressive is many of ZZ’s songs have been featured in movies and TV shows, including Pretty Little Liars, The Good Wife, Shameless, The View, We’re The Millers, Ironside, Reckless, Single Ladies, Justified, Veronica Mars, and Cars 3.

ZZ on A Deadly Melody‘s playlist

Several of ZZs songs are on my A Deadly Melody playlist and throughout the entire Fallen Rockstar series. “Ghost”, “Save My Life”, “Last Love Song”, “Bag of Bones”, and my absolute favorite “’Til the Casket Drops” are all included on my novel playlist.
