Elissa Kane is a North Carolina-based mystery author. Her debut novel, Silent Whiskey, a Southern family mystery set in a small-town whiskey distillery, is slated for release in Fall 2026.
A lifelong fan of mysteries, true crime, retro music, and Southern storytelling, Elissa blends emotional depth with nostalgic twists in her fiction. She holds a B.A. in English and works in legislative research, a role that sharpens her eye for detail, logic, and layered narratives.
When she’s not writing, Elissa curates story soundtracks, digs through vinyl bins, and posts weekly mixtapes for readers who believe every great mystery deserves a killer playlist.
