In addition to the Blogging from A-Z Challenge that I’ll be taking part in, I have also signed up for the April Camp NaNoWriMo. I will most likely sign up for the July Camp, as well. I am really trying to get A Deadly Melody completed in 2019.
What is Camp NaNoWriMo
According to the people at NaNoWriMo, Camp NaNoWriMo is
“a virtual writer’s retreat, designed for maximum flexibility and creativity. We have Camp sessions in both April and July, and we welcome word-count goals between 30 and 1,000,000. In addition, writers can tackle any project they’d like, including new novel drafts, revision, poetry, scripts, and short stories.”
The best thing about Camp NaNoWriMo is it is much more lax in what you write and your individual writing goals.
My April Camp NaNoWriMo Goal
Since I am blogging with the Blogging from A-Z Challenge, I decided to not go all-in this month. My goal for the month is to write for 30 hours. I figure even if I can’t write an hour a day, I can make up for any time over the weekend.
Here is to a very busy April!
